Erin Willingham started classical ballet training at 4 years old in St. Petersburg Florida. By 12, she decided to make dance her career, and left home to train at the Idyllwild Arts Academy and Virginia School of the Arts boarding schools with former Royal Ballet and Stuttgart Ballet principals. At 18, she joined the Alonzo King Lines Ballet ensemble for 2 years in San Francisco, working with some of the worlds most respected choreographers. Erin then took a scholarship at Florida State University, and spent 2 years training with Suzanne Farrell and learning modern dance from the founding members of the Martha Graham Company, Jose Limon, and Bella Lewitsky. She explored choreography, and received an invitation to choreograph a piece for the MFA graduate dancers. Erin attended ballet summer programs such as Boston Ballet, Joffrey Ballet NYC, Orlando Ballet, and Northwest Dance Project.

Erin became a Pilates instructor to be able to utilize Pilates principles to deepen her body awareness, and for the lives of the clients she teaches. She currently teaches special house-call clients that own Gratz equipment, a few of which whom are recovering from serious spinal surgeries. Erin has also been called to help train professional sports athletes, and members of the entertainment industry. She truly cares about each client, making each session specifically designed to suit their needs and goals. Her teaching style focuses on attention to detail; She uses creative imagery and helps the client understand how to feel the correct placement in their own body, so they feel themselves working in proper alignment, maximizing all the benefits of the technique. Erin has a passion for helping people to get connected with their bodies and works hard to help clients meet their personal goals, while feeling great.
